The bar opens this week in London's Soho with complimentary Toki Highballs, created by Suntory brand ambassador Zoran Peric, and will feature hand-carved ice much like the Japanese bartending tradition.

The activation is being delivered by White Label and runs until 23 June at Japanese restaurant Shoryu. The cocktail mixes Toki with sparkling water.

Peric said: "The Highball is huge in Japan where it is enjoyed with food, nowhere more so than in Tokyo’s amazing Golden Gai district.

"By bringing Toki to the UK and serving it up via this immersive pop-up, we’re introducing London to the complete Japanese experience that we know will make them fall in love with Toki and the highball serve."

In 2016 Suntory created a blossom lounge installation at the Shochu Lounge in Roka Charlotte Street.
