Honda's animated film promotes the car brand's role in Formula One, specifically its partnerships with Aston Martin Red Bull Racing and Scuderia Toro Rosso.
The ad revives the "Powered by Honda" strapline that ran on F1 cars between 1988 and 1992. It shows performance cars, motorbikes, lawn mowers, speedboats and an aircraft racing on an F1 track, thanks to Honda power units. At the end of the high-octane sequence, they morph back into Red Bull and Toro Rosso F1 cars and the film switches to real footage. The work was created by Alex King and Andrew Jordan, and directed by Mainframe.
