Kerb-crawlers are being told how much their actions would cost in an ad campaign launched by the Home Office this week. The campaign issues stark reminders to potential kerb-crawlers that the price they pay for kerb-crawling may be more than they bargained for.
The series of adverts will feature on local radio stations and strategic outdoor poster sites and carry warnings that kerb-crawlers could face arrest, a court appearance, warning letters to their home, a £1000 fine and a driving ban, as well as bringing shame to family, friends and employers.
