The agency has been tasked with creating a multimedia campaign pushing Hiscox’s online subscription platform, which is dedicated to small-to-medium sized businesses.
VCCP got the job after pitching in London and Paris against several other European agencies. Le Hub ran the pitch.
The work will run across Europe with a particular focus on Germany and France. At the same time, Hiscox has appointed PHD France to handle is media planning and buying in Continental Europe. Vizeum handles Hiscox’s media in the UK.
Thomas Heindl, the European head of direct marketing at Hiscox, said: "Our ambition is to grow further in Europe, and particularly to build a stronger awareness of our brand in key markets such as France and Germany.
"This is why we launched a pitch with creative and media agencies, and chose PHD and VCCP. We are already working together in other markets, which strengthens our decision.
"VCCP will be able to make our brand image much stronger and more powerful than it is today. And the alternative approach of PHD and their competence in ‘media intelligence’ fit our needs as a specialist insurer perfectly."
