The gin brand has enlisted its UK ambassador Ally Martin to deliver Scottish poet Robert Burns’ 'Address to the haggis' ritual at events in Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester and finally London, where he will descend on Hawksmoor Spitalfields Bar, which is situated below the company's Spitalfields restaurant.
Members of the public are invited to head down to the venue from 5.30pm, where they can expect Hendrick's-based cocktails and traditional Scottish fare.
A total of five bespoke beverages will be available on the night, including the Rusty Fail, which comprises the gin alongside Drambuie and Laphroaig; a Hendrick's gin, rose syrup, ginger syrup, Laphroaig, lemon and egg white creation known as the Howard Flowery; and the Heather and Salt, which includes pomegranate syrup, Cocchi Rosa and salt, as well as Hendrick's gin.
On the food front, guests will be able to snack on Scottish pop-up Dram & Smoke’s Hendrick’s haggis creation, Hawksmoor's specially created haggis nuggets, which contain lamb veloute, Hendrick’s haggis and cheese and are covered in a panko and tatty crumb, as well as haggis dogs.
The London event will continue until late, and entry, as well as the aforementioned food and drink, will be free.
