The Hendrick’s Botanical Garden features lush foliage, herbs and blooms, as well as terracotta Italian bric-a-brac. It has been styled with marble-topped garden furniture, colonial blinds and ceiling fans, which aim to take visitors back in time to Mr Foggs’ Victorian empire days.
A number of bespoke Hendrick’s-based drinks have been created as part of the activation. Teapot sharers include A Symphony of Peculiar Deliciousness, made with the brand’s gin, rose-infused jasmine tea syrup, Briottet bergamot liqueur, lychee juice and lime juice, and Have Them By The Junipers, which is made using a mix of gin, sake, elderflower liqueur and cucumber.
Single cocktails are also available to sample.
Over the Atlantic, the brand has announced the launch of Hendrick’s Air, a 130 foot-long, 44-foot tall ‘flying cucumber’ aircraft. The flying vehicle, which will feature a giant eye design, will launch coast-to-coast journeys from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin, Dallas, South Florida, New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Ann Arbor, Indianapolis and Chicago.
Jim Ryan, Hendrick’s national brand ambassador, said: "As we see it, flying in excess of 500 miles per hour becalmed by such conveniences as in-flight TV and noise-canceling headphones feels no different than sitting in one's living room. We are offering a return to the true glamour of flight."
