Hague was head of corporate sales at Excel from 2001 to 2008. She rejoins the venue from PR agency Davies Tanner where she was client development director.

As part of her new role, Hague will develop relationships with corporate brands to build business opportunities for the venue.

Excel has also promoted William Mower to account manager and Katy Harding to account executive.

Mower joined Excel a year ago. His role will include working with the venue’s London corporate accounts and creating closer relationships with production agencies. Harding moves from Excel’s sales team and will be responsible for the venue’s corporate and public sector clients, as well as cultural events and agencies.

Excel director of conference and events James Rees said: "We’ve experienced a major increase in corporate events both domestically and through our international network following the launch of the ICC London Excel. Now the impending arrival of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the development of Tech City East have spurred closer relationships with major national and international brands and Jane is ideally placed to develop these contacts to build on our excellent portfolio of corporate clients."
