The show, which was held at Earls Court 2 this year and will return to the same space in 2012, said: "Prompted by the uncertainty over the future of Earls Court, ExceL has been selected as the best venue to support the planned investment in content and growth."
BVE and TPS event director Charlotte Wheeler said: "The certainty offered by a new venue will allow us to take the shows to another stage in their development and underscore their position as the essential exhibitions for broadcast, video and audio professionals."
The 2011 show attracted just under 16,000 visitors, a year-on-year increase of 35%.
Next year’s show takes place on 14 – 16 February 2012 at Earls Court 2.
Wheeler said: "BVE and TPS have grown rapidly over the last few years and now is the perfect time to move to a bigger home. Visitor numbers to this year's show were up 35% year on year and with 70% of our exhibitors rebooking onsite. We have huge ambitions in growing the show and a new, purpose-built exhibition venue is just the start."
Earls Court said in a statement: "We can confirm that after many successful years at Earls Court the Broadcast Video Expo and The Production Show will move in 2013. EC&O Venues is extremely proud to have hosted and supported such innovative shows and we wish them all the best for the future."
