Waldron, head of marketing and events at the HAC, will replace Ed Bolling who is general manager at Ironmongers’ Hall in Barbican, London.
She said: "I am thrilled to have been elected as chair and am really excited about what’s in store for LCS in the next 12 months.
"With three fabulous new member venues having joined since the beginning of the year, the collective is still growing."
Other new board member appointments include Robert Wetherell from Museum of London, Angela Myles from Holiday Inn Express London City, and Emma Brown from Doubletree Hilton.
All three will join existing board members Samme Allen, Anthony Hyde and Theresa Thompson from the Barbican Centre; Sarah McQueen of Searcy’s, The Gherkin; and Brendon Smith from Etc Venues.
