The Guardian "do something" by Bartle Bogle Hegarty

Guardian News & Media has released a TV ad to promote its new supplement, called Do Something, in the Saturday Guardian. Bartle Bogle Hegarty created the spot, in which a man is left alone at home with a copy of the newspaper. When his family return to the house an hour later, they find a trail of destruction that culminates in a shed fire. All the things to do and read in The Guardian and The Observer are just too much for one human being, the voiceover warns. The ad, part of the wider "own the weekend" campaign, was written by George Brettell, art directed by AK Parker and directed by Jeff Low through Biscuit Filmworks.
