Griffiths, who will report to managing director Matt O'Brien, has more than four years' experience across multiple marketing disciplines, and has helped win the business of clients such as Tesco Personal Finance, Equity Insurance, B&Q and Sony Europe.

He was business development consultant at Latitude and before that worked for user-experience consultancy, Foolproof Ltd, also as business development manager.

Griffiths will work alongside business development director James Lunn and will support director of innovation Jamie Riddell.

O'Brien said Griffith's "commercial acumen and impressive track record in winning business for digital media agencies across the financial, travel and retail sectors" would make him a "fantastic asset".

Cheeze, a member of the AIM-listed Digital Marketing Group, has also appointed two new media trainees, Tom Preston and Max Gilbert.
