Gmap uses Trader Data for new customer services data

LONDON - Gmap Consulting has recruited the help of specialist multimedia company Trader Data Systems to develop new data services and insight products.

Trader Data Systems will use its automotive database of details on almost every car in the UK to assist Gmap in the launch of new customer and prospect management services for its manufacturers and dealers.

The tool draws information from DVLA, Society of Motor Manufacturers & Traders, as well as leading insurers and finance companies.

Kirk Dobie, managing director of Gmap, said: "We chose Trader Data System as our new provider because it can respond to our requirements such as identifying keeper changes, number plate changes and providing good quality vehicle specification data."

Gmap provides market intelligence to clients around the world, including car manufacturers such as Ford of Europe, Ford of Britain, Mazda, Jaguar, Land Rover Suzuki, Volvo, in addition to several large dealer groups in the UK.

The company also provides a range of new and used car market intelligence services incorporating customer profiling, market analysis, sales planning and stock profiling.
