Eat to the Beat, an arm of the Global Infusion Group was camped down in Glastonbury for the weekend where it provided backstage catering in the form of 6,600 meals to the crew and artistes performing on the Pyramid Stage and The Other Stage.
The caterer also had a team stationed in the capital at Hyde Park for Hard Rock Calling, where it worked alongside another Global Infusion Group subsidary, Upbeat Event Design. It served 7,000 meals for corporate hospitality and the artistes.
As part of its manic weekend of event based work, the caterer also provided a daily changing three-course meal for the Take That tour that found itself in Manchester over the weekend.
Global Infusion Group managing director Tony Laurenson said: "We provided our own kitchen equipment right down to the kitchen sinks and sourced ingredients locally wherever possible, which at Glastonbury meant utilising the large on-site cash-and-carry and bakery for fresh bread."
Other events catered for over the weekend by the Global Infusion Group included a Toyota Car Launch; Sky's Cricket Broadcast teams; a 50th Birthday Party; The Saturdays, Once in a Lifetime and Britain's Got Talent tours and AC/DC's site catering at Hampton Park.
