GL Events reveals a 14.8% growth in revenue for 2010

GL Events, parent company of Snowdens and Owen Brown, has announced a 14.8% growth in revenue of £447.1m in 2010.

The growth has been accounted to the company’s expansion into international markets with projects during the FIFA 2010 World Cup and .

"We are very proud to have played a major role in the performance of GL events," said GL Events UK divisions Owen Brown and Snowdens managing director Alex Robertson.

"Most notably our involvement in terms of supplying substantial resources, in the form of equipment and experienced people, to both the FIFA World Cup in South Africa and The Commonwealth Games in Delhi. The experience of being so closely involved in major global events will undoubtedly be of great benefit as the focus of such events switches to the UK, firstly with London 2012 and secondly Glasgow 2014 in which we hope to play an active role supporting the relevant LOCOGS".
