Supplier GL Events Owen Brown has appointed Alex Robertson as its managing director, replacing Andrew Dorrington who is returning to his native New Zealand.
Chairman Bill Preston has also delayed his retirement, which was planned for earlier this year in order to support Robertson鈥檚 arrival. He has been with the company for 47 years.
Robertson, formerly MD at HL Display, said: 鈥淭here are more opportunities for the group to improve the integration of the individual businesses and to broaden the products and ranges available from the group.鈥
