Known as Russia.Sochi.Park, the Olympic house is a 7,700sqm project comprising of two temporary structures.
Erected on behalf of Eventica Communications, and with a winter wonderland interior concept designed by M-IS, the house includes one of the biggest ice shows outside of Russia. It also has music and dance performances and a 4D cinema.
James Anderson, commercial director at GL Events Owen Brown, said: "We like to think that, as well as being a showcase for Sochi and Russia, it’s a showcase for Owen Brown too, because of the range of products used and expertise demonstrated in the building process.
"We are very proud to have created such a fantastic structure on a site that is as challenging as it is iconic."
The ice arena, which allows 1,200 people to watch the show, is tall enough to accommodate tiered seating standing four metres high.
The company is also behind the double decker Absolute structure at the Fish Island Riviera.
