The stars of music, sport and TV, chosen for their appeal to a wide range of audiences, will appear in outdoor and TV ads from October 27 playing Nintendo DS and Wii titles with their families.
Girls Aloud can be seen playing 'Nintendogs' and 'Mario Kart DS' in the studio and as they relax at home, while Ronan Keating plays 'Dr Kawashima's Brain Training' and then joins his family for some multiplayer 'Big Brain Academy'.
Fern Britton uses 'Cooking Guide: Can't Decide What to Eat?' to create a culinary masterpiece for husband Phil Vickery, while Patrick Stewart and Julie Walters catch up on some 'Brain Training' on the plane.
On Wii the Redknapp family can be seen playing 'Mario Kart Wii', 'Super Smash Bros. Brawl', 'Wii Sports' and 'Wii Fit'.
In the first TV ad, Girls Aloud battle it out to take the chequered flag while dodging bouncing bombs, banana skins and turtle shells in 'Mario Kart DS' as they relax together at home.
In another ad, Nadine and Kimberley catch up to walk, play and make a fuss of Nadine's Nintendog Miso during a recording session.
Girls Aloud said: "We all love our Nintendo DS's, whether racing with 'Mario Kart' on the tour bus or looking after our 'Nintendogs' in the studio at the end of a hectic day, there's always something to keep us laughing and entertained -- the different DS colours mean we never get them mixed up too!"
Dawn Paine, marketing director at Nintendo UK, said: "Families all over the UK are smiling, laughing and having fun together, whether they are flexing their mental muscles, unravelling mysteries or cooking a perfect meal on Nintendo DS, or racing, hitting a strike, ace or hole-in-one with Wii -- there really is something for everyone and every family."
