The quarterly title launches in September under a media partnership between Future and the online dating service . It launches alongside its own dating website , which is created and powered by Dating.Direct.com.
The website will promote Connect magazine to DatingDirect.com's database of 875,000 UK members.
Lynda Burgess, managing editor of Connect, said: "Online dating has really gained foothold with the mainstream consumer, it is a buoyant market that has taken off dramatically in the past few years. Dating someone over the internet is ideal for everyone -- it's instant, relatively inexpensive and a successful way to meet a future partner."
Connect will be priced at £1.80 and have a launch print-run of 150,000.
