Although the venue is being kept a secret until Future Shorts reveals the location to guests before the beginning of next week, the party is set to take place in east London on 29 and 30 November.

Featuring a mix of the most popular classic short films since Future Shorts launched in 2003, alongside a selection from the new winter season, the event will see two screens playing the movies before a live DJ takes to the decks.

Themed as a flight through the last ten years of Future Shorts, the event is being billed as a partnership with Utopia Skyways, with instructions from head of flight services Captain Richard Flywater on booking, flight terminal, boarding passes and check-in.

Around 500 guests are expected to attend the event, which will include films – ranging in length from five to 20 minutes – spanning Poland, Afghanistan and France, as well as music videos.
