Future pushes Official PlayStation Magazine with Sackboy promotion

LONDON - Future is promoting Official PlayStation Magazine with a download that will allow gamers to customise the star of new platform adventure game 'LittleBigPlanet'.

Readers will be able to download a skin that lets them personalise the Sackboy character, who is usually a cute, knitted character, and turn him into the aggressive anti-hero Kratos, who appears in the 'God of War' computer games series.

Future has secured the free download in a deal with Sony Computer Entertainment, which also sees Official PlayStation Magazine publish the first review of 'LittleBigPlanet'. The game will be available for PlayStation 3 starting on October 24.

Future is also pushing subscriptions to Official PlayStation Magazine, by offering the first 200 people to sign up a Sackboy plush toy and a Blu-ray movie.

Richard Keith, publisher of the magazine, said: "This is a UK-developed game that's going to be huge across the globe this Christmas and beyond.

"I'm proud we got the world exclusive review and that we were able to team up with Sony to offer something very special for our readers, We look forward to working with Sony on further exclusives."
