Raderecht started her career in marketing at Future in 1994 and moved on to become publisher of Future's music-making magazine portfolio, overseeing titles such as Total Guitar, Rhythm and Computer Music.
In her new role as group publisher Raderecht retains direct publishing responsibilities for her existing portfolio of music making magazines and will also oversee Future's stitching and crafts magazine portfolio, SFX magazine, Redline and its cycling titles.
Robert Price, Future managing director, said: "Katherine has successfully led our UK portfolio of music-making magazines, growing and consolidating our share of this magazine sector and building excellent industry relationships. She is ideally placed to drive forward and help develop her existing core music-making titles as well as a number of other flagship Future magazines, such as Redline, Cross Stitcher, Mountain Biking UK and SFX."
The move up for Raderecht follows Price's promotion earlier this month to managing director. He was previously publishing director of the entertainment and games divisions.
Price became managing director at Future, which publishes more than 90 specialist consumer magazines worldwide, following the Morrison's departure in December.
