Future Plus expands client roster with motor insurance win

LONDON - Customer magazine agency Future Plus has won the contract to produce a bi-annual car magazine for motor insurer Adrian Flux.

InFlux magazine was previously produced by independent publishers Intersection.

The glossy car magazine will have an initial print run of 190,000 and the 64-page first issue is scheduled for March, with a second edition due in August.

The first edition features an article on the team's trip to Nurburgring and Le Mans at the wheel of a Ferrari 430 F1 Spider. It also investigates the Japanese rebel art of drifting and the traditions behind French car design, while providing customers with information on insurance packages.

Future Plus launched in 2004 and is the customer publishing arm of consumer publisher Future, which produces more than 180 titles worldwide.

It has won business including Sky Movies magazine, HMV's in-store games title, and the consumer-facing website for BT Vision.

Danie Ward, account manager at Future Plus, said: "Winning the contract to produce the InFlux magazine is yet another milestone for Future Plus."

"It is the first automotive customer magazine that Future Plus has produced and also opens up the doors for the financial marketplace."

Gerry Bucke, Adrian Flux marketing director, added: "We were extremely impressed with the presentation and the ideas the team put forward along with the design of the magazine.
