The firm will use Texas-headquartered Harte-Hanks' software for the data project, which will go towards calculating the volume and mix of titles it needs to deliver to outlets.
Ensuring data about individual stores is up to date is especially vital to the firm as it operates on a sale or return basis, according to Nicola Whitehead, data development manager at Frontline.
Whitehead said: "Given today's competitive retail environment we must supply the optimum title mix and copy numbers to each individual outlet to meet its typical customer demand, avoid stock outs and maximise sales while minimising waste."
Frontline is the UK's largest magazine distributor, and is co-owned by publishers Emap, BBC Worldwide, Haymarket Media and Bauer Publishing.
