Freeserve teams up with The MarketPlace for mortgages

LONDON - The MarketPlace at Bradford & Bingley has teamed up with Freeserve to offer a mortgage, personal loan and credit-card broking service.

The service, provided by The MarketPlace, is now available to all users visiting the Freeserve site. It will be dual-branded, and takes the form of a fully integrated mortgage, loan and credit card service on Freeserve's Money channel.

As with The MarketPlace's own website, consumers will have access to a range of deals through a range of channels.

Dominic Barton, Bradford & Bingley Group's director of business development, said: "While many ISPs focus on internet business only, we were impressed with Freeserve's understanding of the financial services market and the importance to them of delivering an integrated multi-channel proposition for their customers under one brand."

Jon Gisby, Freeserve's managing director of portals, added: "As The MarketPlace is the UK's largest IFA and a trusted national brand, it is perfectly positioned to meet the needs of Freeserve users looking for great value for money loans, credit cards and mortgages. We particularly liked the fact that The MarketPlace provides integrated telephone and branch solutions as well as an online capability, offering greater choice to our customers."
