The advertising network will run across the UK, France, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and Italy. Advertisers will have a single point of contact to reach the users of the portals, all of which rank in the top five in their home markets.
Along with , advertisers will have access to in Germany, Italy's and in France, the Netherlands and Spain. Wanadoo owns Freeserve.
Dave McCall, ad sales director at Freeserve, said: "We are incredibly strong within our local markets, we're all top players and we have good relationships with all our clients.
"Now we can talk with clients about pan-European advertising campaigns on a huge scale and instead of having six negotiations, we now offer a one-stop shop."
Several travel companies, including Intercontinental Hotels and Visit London have signed up to advertise already.
There are plans to recruit a senior manager in the UK next year to oversee the network, but for now it will be down to the sales teams in each market to push the service.
Last week the internet research firm Forrester said that online advertising in Europe would reach €1.4bn by the end of 2005.
