Freeserve launches campaign for Shrek

LONDON - Freeserve has launched an online advertising campaign for the release of Universal Pictures' animated film Shrek on DVD.

The campaign is targeted at the ISP's 4.3m unique users and points them towards a Freeserve-branded Shrek microsite, which hosts various features including the Shrek love test, where entrants can win a DVD player and a Shrek DVD.



The competition is being promoted through banner advertising on Freeserve's entertainment site and through content and editorial on the site.



Caroline Pathy, Freeserve advertising sales director, said: "Freeserve was chosen for this campaign primarily due to the proven success we have had with this kind of competition in the past.



"We are confident that this activity will drive viewers to the microsite and consequently raise awareness of the video and DVD release in time for Christmas."
