IAmUnique.com.au, which was created by digital creative agency Lowe Sydney, has been designed to reflect the features of Foxtel's iQ2 set-top box, which allows subscribers to personalise their viewing experience.
The site lets users create online portraits, which are floating mosaics of photos, videos, words and stories that they upload.
The more elements a user adds to their portrait, the more intriguing the effect becomes. It is free and quick to set-up.
To beta-test the site, Foxtel and Lowe enlisted several high-profile Australians.
Portraits of model Sarah Murdoch, music identity Molly Meldrum, NRL footballer Craig Wing, news presenter Adam Peacock, and sprinter Matt Shirvington are featured on the site.
Oliver Mistry, Foxtel's online marketing manager said: "iQ2 makes TV fit your life. You watch whatever you want, whenever you want.
"It's as personal as it gets, and that's what we capture online with I Am Unique."
The site, which uses Papervision3D software, can also read feeds from social networking sites such as , and features Facebook Connect, which allows users to login and link information using their accounts.
