The brand has created a pop-up on the rooftop of its Oxford Street store, which is inspired by the theme of its 2015 Christmas advert. The music that features in the commercial can be heard, meanwhile snow flurries take place at intervals throughout the day and night.

The rooftop is complete with a number of snugs designed for people to cosy up in and enjoy a festive snack, mulled wine and hot chocolate. Plaques complete with educational information about the moon are located throughout the space, and people can take a look through a telescope to spot the moon for themselves.

Open until: 31 December

The fifth-floor terrace of the department store’s Knightsbridge store has been transformed into an Arctic-style cinema, in partnership with outerwear company Canada Goose.

The pop-up cinema is hosting a total of seven screenings of films including The Grand Budapest Hotel, Frozen and Superman. Attendees can snuggle up in a Canada Goose jacket as they take in the cinematic action, all the while enjoying a range of Canadian-style canapés and cocktails, as well as more substantial dishes from a bespoke menu.

Open until: 4 December

Bompas & Parr has teamed up with The View from The Shard to create the Height of Winter installation, which includes theatrical ice-crystals, gem-studded snow domes, glowing crystal benches and a touch-responsive iridescent grotto.

The space aims to transport visitors to their own romantic winter wonderland, with key features including beating lights that represent the force of human connection and a romance-inducing soundscape. Bompas & Parr has also created a range of seasonal treats, such as a Snow White Hot Chocolate and a Mulled Champagne Cocktail.

Open until: 31 January

Spirits distillery brand Sipsmith has teamed up with London venue The Well to launch a pop-up bar inspired by the Alps.

The 70-person capacity space, aptly named the Sipsmith Ski Lodge, features imagery of the Alps, an open fire and fur rugs. A range of cocktail concoctions are available to enjoy, including the Mulled Sloe Gin and the Dainty Damsel. Canapés and bowl food options by The Well are also on offer.

Open until: February
