Mixologists were on hand at the Casa Havana mojito bar to show rum fans what it takes to make an authentic Cuban mojito. Guests could enjoy one free drink, while a live band was onsite playing Cuban music.

The pop-up will be in situ until 17 May, before moving around the capital to Greenwich Market on 24 May to 7 June, Regent's Park’s on 17-21 June, Brixton Village on 25-28 June and finally Camden Lock market on on 4-5 and 18-19 July.

, which owns Havana Club, has launched the campaign to promote its ‘Añejo 3 Años’ (three-year old) rum.

The brand has also created an online hub which is designed to guide fans to the best mojito in town. The hub will indicate which bars across the UK have been through a Havana Club certification programme and can offer an authentic Cuban mojito.

Bars that have achieved certification will display plaques and be featured on Havana Club’s social media pages. Branded drinking tins, featuring the Havana Club logo, have also been provided for the certified bars.
