The broadcaster has struck a licensing deal with Buena Vista International Television to offer a rental-on-demand service, expected to cost 99p for each programme episode.
Broadband internet users who take the rental-on-demand option will be able to download an episode for one 24-hour window and watch it within seven days of downloading.
The network will also make available episodes of its own programming including 'Most Haunted', 'Sin Cities' and 'Real Football Factories' available to rent buy for £2.50 an episode.
Buena Vista programming will not be available to buy on the service, which will be available through the and channel websites.
Lisa Opie, managing director of Flextech Television, said: "Broadband video-on-demand is another great enhancement to our service, which will offer real choice for our consumers. It will let them schedule their own entertainment when it suits them.
"All our channels pride themselves on generating strong affinity with their audiences, and this new service can only help to build on those relationships."
Tom Toumazis, executive vice-president and managing director, Buena Vista International Television EMEA added: "We are working closely with international partners to use new technology in bringing our content to consumers in flexible new ways, and are pleased that viewers in the UK will now be able to enjoy these gripping hit series on demand through our agreement with Flextech."
Flextech programming is also available via satellite and cable television and via mobile networks.
Earlier this week, Opie announced she will be departly Flextech, NTL's programming arm, next month.
