
Viewers will now be able to catch Five programmes from the previous eight days with some content available for 30 days after broadcast. The initiative includes Five’s most popular programmes, Home and Away, Neighbours and Fifth Gear.
Viewers will also be able to pay for individual episodes of Five programmes or can sign up to one of BT Vision’s price plans, which include TV replay.
Dan Marks, BT Vision chief executive, said the addition of Demand Five adds further breadth and depth of programming to the UK’s largest on-demand television service.
Jonathan Lewis, head of digital media at Five, noted the recent website relaunch has proved popular and said he expects to build on the success with this new deal with BT Vision.
Individual UK Five shows will cost between 79p and 99p on BT Vision or can be watched as part of BT Vision’s monthly packages, costing from £3 a month.
