Brands including Sony and Wallpaper will be activating in designer Tom Dixon’s new multi-sensory space in London’s Old Selfridges Hotel. Open until 15 October, the 20,000 square foot space will feature Sony’s 4K laser projector, while design magazine Wallpaper has installed an edit of its Handmade exhibition and set up a temporary editorial office within the site.

The flavour-altering café will pop up within The Attendant in London

E-cigarette brand Blu eCigs is offering smokers the chance to experience a pop-up ‘vape café’, which will offer a menu where sour tastes are turned sweet. Natural taste modifier the miraculin berry heightens sweet taste receptors on the tongue, so visitors will be given a miraculin tablet and sample plate of tart tasting food to test the theory.

Live + Loud will celebrate all things Birmingham (selfridges.com/GB)

From 1 October, Selfridges is to host a series of in-store events, as well as an offsite pop-up art space, as part of its Live + Loud festival in Birmingham. Events cover art, fashion, beauty and food, with musical performances also taking place throughout the four days of activity.

The #RugLee fleet is making its way around London throughout the World Cup

In celebration of the Rugby World Cup, car hire company Addison Lee has unveiled a 20-strong fleet of specially decorated cars  - each sporting a participating nation’s flag. The drivers will also hail from the nation that the flag represents.

The experience will be housed within the Sanderson terrace

If you haven’t visited already, gin brand Bombay Sapphire is hosting a pop-up in association with Sanderson hotel in London, where visitors are taken on a botanical journey. The pop-up takes its inspiration from the 10 botanical ingredients used to create the drink. Masterclasses will also be taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
