
Fever Tree World Gin Day pop-up
Fever Tree is to launch a World Gin Day pop-up bar on London’s South Bank, which will be open for three days (9-11 June). The new double-decker container bar will also host rooftop masterclasses in addition to live music and the chance to check out the brand’s new Aromatic Tonic. Fever Tree’s tonics will be paired with a selection of premium gins such as Tanqueray, Sipsmith and Portobello.
Portobello Road Gin partners with The London Edition Hotel bars
The brand has partnered with The London Edition Hotel bars to celebrate World Gin Day. Each night leading up to the big day Lobby Bar guests will receive a gin gift, while there will be a gin-fuelled Daily Punch in the Punch Room. At The Portobello Star, the home of the brand on Portobello Road, it will be celebrating with a market stall selling all types of G&Ts along with merchandise including tins for juniper berries.
Sipsmith’s launches country-wide experientials
The premium gin is celebrating all over the country. At Junipalooza, the London gin festival, its master distiller Jared Brown will be on hand on 11-12 June. It will be launching its limited edition Chiswick Gin as well creating some weird and wonderful creations in its Sipsmith Lab, which will also be available for sampling. The brand is also at the Edinburgh Juniper Festival at Summer Hall and will be presenting a livestream talk, 'Sipsmith Presents the History of London Gin.'
Bath Gin’s Queen Street Party
The Bath Gin Company is holding a Queen Street Party offering food, games and gin. The event is to be held at Bath Gin’s own Canary Gin Bar, a two-floor venue with a dedicated Martini Bar. The event will run from midday until 8pm on Saturday 11 June.
Bombay Sapphire rooftop bar at Harvey Nichols
The Bombay Sapphire roof terrace at Harvey Nichols' Knightsbridge store will be celebrating World Gin Day in its gin and tonic-themed oasis. Visitors to the fifth floor terrace will be able to create a bespoke Bombay Sapphire tipple that's tailored to their tastebuds until 11 June. Besides elderflower, yuzu and lemongrass tonics, guests can also create their own mixers by combining tonic syrups from Jack Rudy with soda water.
