FHM in double drop-down High Street Honey cover first

LONDON - FHM has launched its February 2004 edition with a 'double drop-down' cover, featuring 2003 'High Street Honey' winner Kayleigh Pearson, to offer an additional opportunity to advertisers.

The special features a full-length picture of "High Street Honey" winner Pearson from Worcestershire, who is featured on the 90cm front cover that folds out to into one long poster spread, three times the length of FHM's regular front cover.

It differs from the likes of the horizontal open-outs, which have featured on titles such as Vanity Fair, and instead drops down vertically so that readers can experience a full-size "Honey". FHM claims that this is the first time that this format has been used on a UK magazine.

The inside cover of the double drop-down features an ad for Sony Ericsson's T610 camera phone.

Earlier this week, Emap revealed that its new men's title, which has been developed as Project Tyson, is to be called Zoo Weekly.
