The Manchester Food and Drink Festival, the UK's biggest urban food and drink festival, is taking place from 29 September to 10 October. Fever-Tree's structure will be housed at the Festival Hub on Albert Square for the duration of the event, the central, outdoor food and drink festival focal point. The garden aims to be a city-centre oasis, created as a haven to true gin appreciation.
Inside the garden, Fever-Tree will be hosting what it calls the 'ultimate G&T bar, which will serve up a selection of gins paired with its range of tonic waters and a selection of garnishes, allowing festival-goers to create their very own, bespoke 'ultimate gin & tonic'.
A programme of gin masterclasses will be hosted in the garden throughout the Festival, offering revellers an education on all things G&T as well as offering sampling journeys of the different mixers and what to pair with them. Fever Tree will also be hosting the 'Gin Safari', giving visitors the opportunity to discover the best gin spots in the city.
There will also be a selection of cocktails paired with Fever-Tree mixers including the Ginger Mojito and Sicilian Fizz.
The garden and masterclasses will be free to enter, allocated on a first come, first served basis. The Gin Garden will be open from 12noon – 11pm daily.
