Eyeconomy has won the online planning/buying contract for Jobpilot,
the latest recruitment website to hit the UK market.
Jon Clarke, head of media at the internet planning/buying agency, and
Ray Taylor, managing director, will start work on the account by
reviewing Jobpilot’s ad agreements with net media owners.
The Frankfurt-based site claims to be Europe’s biggest commercial online
job source, posting about 40,000 jobs across the Continent. It
advertises on Alta Vista, Lycos, Yahoo!, Excite, FT.com and Freeserve
among others.
’±±¾©Èü³µpk10s on those sites will run until the end of March so we have a
couple of weeks in hand,’ said Taylor on the media strategy. ’We are
most likely to choose a combination of branded sites such as Excite -
although I think we have too many portals on the schedule - and second
tier sites like EasyEverything.com .’
Taylor added that Eyeconomy was also keen to pursue more ’imaginative’
strategies, such as sponsorship and interactive banners.
Jobpilot, which is owned by the German company Jobs and Adverts, uses
Ogilvy & Mather for worldwide creative advertising and MindShare for its
UK media.
