Experiential industry calls for 'glossary of terms'

Panellists at today's experiential seminar at The Guide Live have called for the industry to come together and draw up a 'glossary of terms' for experiential events.

Managing partner of RPM Hugh Robertson said such a list would help educate clients and set standards amongst industry professionals.

Global business development director of Iris Experience Cameron Day, managing director of Jack Morton Worldwide Julian Pullan and group account director experiential and events of Capitalize Louise Taylor also took part in the seminar, held at Ministry of Sound.

According to Day, the recession has meant more businesses have started to dip their toe in the experiential sector, but there is still work to be done in educating clients.

"We have started to get some interesting briefs for staff motivation events and product launches," he commented.
