Footie Chick has been developed by sports clothing veteran David Brint, most recently Reebok UK sales director and a previous director of Berghaus, Mitre, Pony and Reusch.
Aimed at style-conscious women in their 20s, the range comprises fitted T-shirts emblazoned with the brand's logo, zipper hooded tops and vests, long-sleeved baseball tops and handbags.
Prices range from 拢15 to 拢39.99. The first range, the autumn/winter collection, is going into stores this month.
Further items, including trousers and accessories, will be introduced with the spring/summer line next year.
Listings have been secured in stores including Harrods, football ground merchandise shops, some independent fashion boutiques and selected sports retailers.
The Manchester business has appointed Brazen to handle a PR campaign to launch the brand and secure celebrity endorsement.
Managing director Brint said: "Our research has shown the time is right to introduce a sports-style fashion clothing range. Footie Chick is not limited to team or country boundaries, which is great for our international growth plans."
Football is now more popular than both hockey and netball among UK females.
More than 61,000 girls and women play the game in more than 3,000 teams -- 10 times the number in 1993 -- according to the FA.
