Corporate packages will be available for both the opening and closing ceremonies as well as a range of sports including athletics, rugby sevens, swimming, track cycling, gymnastics, judo, boxing and netball. Prices will range from £249 to £575.
The hospitality experience will also create an opportunity to showcase the best of Scotland’s larder as outlined in the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games Food Charter, which sets a new benchmark for food and drink standards at the nation’s major events.
Paul Terry, managing director of Events International, said: "The Games offer an outstanding opportunity for corporate clients to be at the heart of the action. Guests will enjoy world-class sporting competition coupled with the finest Scottish food and drink and we are hugely excited by what it will offer."
Less than 1% of the overall Games tickets will be available to corporate guests, in keeping with the organising committee’s commitment to make the ticketing programme fair, accessible and affordable.
The sale of hospitality tickets will contribute towards funding the Games.
