#EventCareers survey: Job hunting on the agenda for 45% of brand experience professionals

Almost half of brand experience professionals (45%) are on the lookout for a new job, according to Event's 2016 #EventCareers survey results.

Last month and into January we anonymously surveyed brand experience professionals from all areas and levels of the industry - from experience assistants, to brand managers and MDs.

The poll found that 45% were looking for a new job - .

The main reason for initiating the new job search was to earn more money (37%), while 33% felt that they lack career progression opportunities in their current role.

Other reasons given included the chance for a new challenge (15%), while only 2% felt they were overworked in the current job.

Those surveyed overwhelmingly felt their work/life balance was satisfactory (68%), with 74% keen to remain working in the events industry for the rest of their career. These findings dispute the suggestions in .
