I got into the events industry because it was an attractive option that satisfied my passion for planning and organising people, and I got paid for it.

I have worked here since October 2008.

I was attracted to this particular role because of the amazing venue that it will be - iconic, flexible and a great ambassador for modern Ireland.

Not many people know that I used to live in Singapore and can make a mean Singapore Sling.

My worst experience at an event was a really poor turnout at a car launch only last year. The weather was terrible and only ten people turned up. Embarrassing for the client.

If there's one thing I've learnt it's people do business with people.

The best event I've been involved in was the Mama Mia wrap party at the first show in Dublin. It was lots of fun and involved some star spotting.

If I could do it all over again I would be 19 forever.

The one thing I can't stand it's people being late.

Outside of work I spend my time with my friends and cute little niece.

If money were no object I would move to a sunnier climate.

The one event I will never miss is Electric Picnic in September each year - pure fun and the best bands.

The recession has meant that you don't have to make an excuse when you don't want to go out every weekend.

The next 12 months will be hectic, with the largest sporting and event venue opening in Ireland in May, and I'm getting married in September in Spain.

If I could switch places with anyone else in the industry it would be no one - working at the hottest new venue to open in Ireland in 2010, why would I go anywhere else.

If I ruled the event industry I would insist companies have Christmas parties; the bigger the better.
