This year's poll was once again decided by Event's readership and a number of answers to questions that included contribution to the industry; revenue generated; accolades won; events organised or supplied; and a client testimonial for their work from Sept 10 - Sept 11.

More than 250 industry figureheads were nominated or put themselves forward for the Event 100 Club, and Event's editorial team initially whittled this down to 100 based on the aforementioned factors and who had performed best.

This list was then made available for the industry to vote and rank the candidates. More than 4,000 of you took the time to vote for who you think should top the list. Together with their contribution to the industry and the votes the list was decided.

Everyone in the industry is aware of the amazing work and contribution Harvey Goldsmith has made to the event industry, but this year as chairman of Ignite he has taken the agency to new levels.

Such was the extent of his company's influence it picked up awards at the Event Awards, Brand Event Awards and Eventia this year. Its projects for clients including the NFL was simply outstanding.

Congratulations to Harvey and the rest of the Event 100 Club nominees, particularly to the highest ranked woman London and Parnters head of event solutions and UK sales Zanine Adams.

The list was unveiled at the (30 Nov) and can be found in Event's yearbook, .
