This year’s event, which has expanded to three days, will take place at London’s Tobacco Dock and will also welcome spoken word artist Marshall Davis Jones as part of its speaker line-up.
The event, which brings together more than 50 speakers, innovators, performers, artists and entrepreneurs, aims to educate and motivate with talks, workshops and hands-on product demonstrations.
High street fashion retailer Topshop will also be hosting an area in the show’s interactive zone showcasing its recent work around digital innovation in a retail environment.
The company will be on the lookout for new start-ups whose platforms could help enhance the customer experience. It comes after Topshop collaborated with mobile app Chirp at London Fashion Week in September to distribute looks from its show via sound.
Topshop will also be launching a competition exclusive to Wired readers and delegates to become its next digital innovator. The winner will work with the brand on the next iPad and iPhone app edition of the magazine, which is distributed to its international stores.
Other workshops at the event, which will be running daily, include how to build your own electronic music maker, how to build a mobile game in 30 minutes, and how to make people eat insects.
