Located at Tobacco Dock in east London until 23 November, Taste’s theme for the festive season is ‘Forgotten Foods’, and will include showcases from restaurants and chefs such as Raymond Blanc using wild, often-ignored British produce.

These demonstrations will take place in the Electolux Taste Theatre and will see chefs preparing live food on stage using the cookery brand’s electric appliances. Electrolux is also hosting two other activations, Secret Ingredient and Chefs’ Secrets, which will include multi-sensory seminars and hands-on cookery sessions.

Asda will host its Extra Special Festive Kitchen in partnership with Leiths School of Food and Wine. Here, the supermarket’s innovation chefs and its master of wine will demonstrate their techniques used in food and drink.

Ford has selected Taste London to launch its Protégé Project – a new scheme that will see the automotive brand partner with some of the most revered chefs in the industry to handpick and promote upcoming culinary talent. Guests will be able to sample the protégés work so far and help them refine their dishes for future use.

Chocolate brand Gü will also be hosting sampling sessions and masterclasses in its ‘Garden of Temptation’. Other activations on offer include a Champagne bar from Laurent-Perrier, The Westons Cider Room and a ‘Cocktails at Home’ arena in association with Tanquerary, Ciroc vodka and Haig Club whisky.
