
The free event is billed as a family-friendly day out featuring a range of top wine merchants and artisan producers who will help to recreate the vibe of the south of France. DJ Giles Peterson will be closing the day’s proceedings to entertain crowds.
Elastic was selected to produce and PR the event after a two-way pitch process, and will also be in charge of all social media for the festival.
The event has attracted a number of partners include Majestic, Roberson Wines, Elliots café, Le Marché du Quartier and Raw wine bar.
Other highlights will include a sandy beach where visitors can take part in a sand castle competition to build iconic sites of the Languedoc-Roussillon region.
Wine, food and travel experts will be hosting a series of talks and tasting experiences, and a tourist office will provide information on the best places to stay in the region as well as the opportunity for visitors to book holidays there.
English author Kate Mosse, best known for her 2005 novel Labyrinth, will also be attending the event as part of a book signing.
