The City-based club has two venues – Eight Moorgate and Eight Bank – located a few minutes’ walk from each other, and is the sixteenth addition to the three-month-old venue's referral company, managed by Lollipop Events.
Eight Moorgate boasts two floors of terraces set out over more than 800sqm, while the private dining room can host boardroom meetings or private dinners, with its own access points to the terrace.
As well as a Members’ Lounge with private rooms and wi-fi, the Quartier Restaurant with floor to ceiling windows, can all be hired by non-memebers.
Eight Moorgate and Eight Bank both offer meeting facilities, a conference space and private dining to non-members, with a maximum capacity of 70 for a seated event.
Mark Ward, managing director of Lollipop Events and Leading Venues of London, told Event: "It’s an absolutely stunning venue and is perfect for corporate events. It’s very smart and very contemporary."
Ward explained that the idea behind Leading Venues of London is that venues can refer clients to other members within the group if they are unable to host an event. As a result, the venue that makes the referral benefits from commission.
"The beauty of it is that venues are making money from something they are unable to host themselves. We are a very small group but we intend to stay high-quality with top of the range venues," he added.
