Oliver's remit on OneTel will be to develop marketing strategy and retention guidelines for the home phone brand, while he will also use his pitch experience to contribute to the agency's new-business efforts.
In addition, EHS Brann has recruited Chris Ridd from Draft London, where he worked on the Saab, Vauxhall and Stella Artois accounts. His previous experience includes a period at BBH as a data planner on accounts including Audi and Sony Ericsson.
Ridd will work mainly on EHS Brann's British Gas account as well as contributing to the day-to-day strategic planning for other accounts such as Beck's and MBNA.
Alison Hamer, joint managing partner, said: "Chris Oliver's experience in large-scale direct mail programmes and his background in client relations make him a great addition to the OneTel account.
"Chris Ridd's mix of data planning and straight account planning fits in well with our heritage of offering a breadth of skills to our clients, and I'm sure both will make a great contribution to EHS Brann."
Ridd will report to planning director Kate Wheaton and Oliver will report to Hamer, until she moves to become managing director of EHS Brann Cirencester.
