The event will run from 14 -16 September and will include pop-up shops, Le Monde cocktail bar, a salon, café, presentation stages and brow and nail bars. The Pout party bus will also be on hand to transport guests from George Street to the Corn Exchange.

Guests will be able to shop, test products, buy treatments, and network with like-minded women at the event.

Paul Demarco, managing director at Marcos, which owns the Edinburgh Corn Exchange, said: "We recognised that in challenging economic times taking control and driving our own success is key to the company’s future. Our venue database has over 25,000 contacts as a result of producing the Edinburgh Wedding Fair for the past nine years and running Christmas parties and corporate events. 80% of this database is women, giving us a captive target audience, all of whom already have a relationship with the venue."

The show is expecting an average spend of £75 per person, based on its own research.
