Eclipse appoints Steel as head of insight

LONDON - Database specialist Eclipse Marketing has recruited Simon Steel to fill the newly created position of head of insight.

His appointment means that will be able to offer clients greater insight into existing and prospective customers.

Steel said: "Eclipse has extensive experience in customer satisfaction, CRM and direct communications, and strong IT and database expertise to support these functions.

"The new service will use predictive marketing techniques to enable clients to respond more intelligently to their customers' current and future needs by modelling and tracking attitudes, behaviours and purchasing habits."

Prior to joining Eclipse, Simon provided analytics services to major companies including Toyota and Travis Perkins.
