EBay Advertising promotes Phillip Rinn

LONDON - EBay Advertising has appointed Phillip Rinn as director of advertising partnerships for the UK, Ireland and EMEA.

Phillip will be responsible for driving 's advertising revenues from brand partnerships, as well as acquiring new partnerships across the UK, Ireland and Pan-EMEA.

The role is a step up from his previous position as director of advertising partnerships for where he spent the past year.

Phillip said: "With the strong growth we're seeing in the UK as the advertising lead market in Europe, eBay has decided to create one hub for the UK, Ireland and pan-EMEA business in London.

"I'm hugely excited to be growing the team as we deliver exciting new benefits to our advertising customers into 2009 and beyond."

He joined eBay from Bertelsmann in 2005, as business development director international for eBay company , where he established over 200 advertising partnerships in the UK, France and Germany.
